What it does
Subjects, terms and backlogs
Every subject grouped by semester or year, each marked Ongoing, Backlog or Cleared. Odd and even cycles are labelled, because that is how exam calendars actually run.
Exam attempts, honestly tracked
Record each attempt — regular or back exam — with its date, result and grade. Marking a pass clears the subject automatically; marking a fail moves it to backlog. Your semester GPA is calculated from graded attempts, weighted by credit hours.
Form fill-up deadlines with reminders
The deadline students actually miss is not the exam, it is the form. Track the normal, late and double-fee dates for each term, and set 7-day, 3-day and 1-day reminders with one tap.

Side exams alongside your degree

Getting started
Three steps. Nothing to configure.

Open the dashboard, choose 🎓 Study, and set your program — name, semester or year structure, and which term you are in now.

Add your subjects, including the ones you would rather forget. Set exam dates as routines are published, and split the syllabus into chapters so coverage can be tracked.

Add your form fill-up dates and tap the reminder button. Then check the Overview each morning to see what to study first.

Is the study planner free for students?
Yes. Subjects, backlogs, exam dates, form deadlines, reminders and the focus timer are free with a Calenote account, with no ads.
Can I track backlog subjects and back exams?
Yes. Each subject can be marked as a backlog and can hold multiple exam attempts — regular or back — with the date, result and grade for each. Marking an attempt as passed clears the subject automatically.
Will it remind me about exam form fill-up dates?
Yes. For each term you can record the normal, late and double-fee deadlines, and create 7-day, 3-day and 1-day reminders for each with one tap. Reminders arrive on your phone, in the app and on the Chrome extension.
Can I track IELTS or Loksewa preparation alongside my degree?
Yes. Side exams are supported as a separate list: add as many as you are preparing for, each with its own kind, exam date, venue, registration number and its own three-tier form deadlines.
Does it calculate GPA?
Yes. When you enter letter grades against exam attempts, each term's GPA is calculated on the 4.0 scale and weighted by the credit hours you set for each subject.
How does it decide what I should study first?
It combines three things: how close the exam is, how much of the syllabus you have not yet covered, and the difficulty you rated the subject. The reason is shown next to each suggestion so you can judge it yourself.
Does it work for +2, bachelor's and master's?
Yes. You set your own program structure — semesters, years or trimesters — and the number of terms, so it fits most Nepali and international course structures.
